Billy Ray Cyrus hasn’t done much in recent years besides exist in the periphery of his daughter’s fame but that’s all about to change. He’s back with a sequel to “Achy Breaky Heart” and it’s arguably even worse than you could possibly imagine.
I don’t know where exactly the world fell apart but I think if you told us all back in 1991 that Billy Ray Cyrus would one day recreate “Achy Breaky Heart” with half-naked women shaking their bare asses next to some rapper, there would be at least a 20 percent chance we were headed to a complete breakdown of society. I’m not sold that isn’t the case. At the very least, we’ve been suddenly thrust into the movie Idiocracy.
If you also told me that Miley Cyrus would be the artistic apex of the Cyrus family in 2014, I’d be a bit surprised, too. But here we are.
