Pranks, man. Sometimes they seem like they’re all fun and games. And then sometimes you almost push your buddy off a cliff to his death. Such a fickle beast.

The main thing to remember when doing a prank of this nature is that it’s all good as long as you yell “PRANK!” at the end. His friends’ concern as he plummets to his death would immediately turn to laughter if the guy just did that. Nothing tickles the funny bone like a good prank.
