True story: free pizza for a year is about the greatest gift anyone could receive. Last week, West Chester University freshman Jack Lavery hit a half court shot for $10,000—or so he thought. The school later pulled the offer. Now Pizza Hut is stepping up to the plate.

Lavery needed to make all 4 shots in a row–something that was never conveyed to him (or the announcer for that matter). What’s the point of the shot clock then? But I digress.
Lavery didn’t get his $10k because of the rules. Last night, Pizza Hut came up with an even better offer.
