With Beyonce gracing the cover of Time’s Most Influential People issue (and getting her own church) we thought today we’d feature her on “Throwback Thursday.”
Click on to see Beyonce looking fierce throughout the years.
Has it really been 17 years since Destiny’s Child appeared on the scene? Yes, yes it has. Hard to believe since Bey is still just 32 years-old, but it was back in 1997 that the group released it’s major label debut on the soundtrack to the film Men in Black. For eight years Beyonce, Kelly and Michelle were fixtures on the pop charts as one of the best-selling girl groups of all time.
Two years before the group broke up though, Beyonce released her first solo album, Dangerously in Love, which sold 11 million copies and earned five Grammy Awards putting the writing on the wall for what was to come.
Previous Throwbacks: Stacy Keibler, Scarlett Johansson & more!
Fast forward 11 years and Beyonce has won 17 Grammy Awards and sold over 118 million records on her own, is married to Jay-Z, and sits on the cover of Time’s Most Influential People issue. Did we mention that she’s only 32 years-old?
