We were all VERY disheartened to learn that Maria Menounos was leaving Extra, but will Katherine Webb replacing her really soften the blow? At least that’s the rumor being floated around the Internet over the past 24 hours.

Katherine was spotted on the set of Extra interviewing actor Ian Somerhalder fueling speculation that she is in line to take over for Maria when she finally departs the show.
