Since Sharknado 2 is all anyone’s talking about today we thought that none other than Vivica A. Fox would be the perfect choice for this week’s “Throwback Thursday.”

For many of us the first time we laid eyes on Vivica A. Fox was as Will Smith’s love interest in Independence Day back in 1996. Needless to say we were smitten because pardon the pun, she was the bomb.
Following that success up with movies like Booty Call, Batman & Robin, Soul Food, and Kill Bill and Vivica was permanently on our radar.

Then she did a show on Lifetime for three years called Missing and that’s what she was to most men. Lifetime, yo. But now, thanks to Sharknado 2 she’s back and according to her IMDB profile she’s going to be a very busy lady over the next few years. Good to have you back, Viv.
