While we all pretty much think everyone running our states are corrupt (and they probably are), but which states are the worst and more importantly, do you live in one of them? Let’s find out.
According to Fortune magazine…
A new study from researchers at the University of Hong Kong and Indiana University estimates that corruption on the state level is costing Americans in the 10 most corrupt states an average of $1,308 per year, or 5.2% of those states’ average expenditures per year.
That’s some bullshit right there, isn’t it? Who elected these people? Oh yeah…
It’s also interesting to note that of the top 10 most corrupt states in America only Louisiana, Alaska and South Dakota were listed among the top 25 drunkest states in America. Clearly, the more you drink the less corrupt you are. It’s just science, people.
