Olivier Giroud Goal

Group E

BATE 0  Barcelona 2: Barcelona needed an easy win and got it with a brace from Ivan Rakitic

Leverkusen 4  Roma 4: Possibly the wildest match we’ll see this season in the competition. Javier Hernández gave Leverkusen the lead from the penalty spot and made it 2-0 by the 15th minute. Goals from Daniele de Rossi (brace), Miralem Pjanic and Iago Falqué gave Roma a stunning 4-2 lead, but Kevin Kampl and Admir Mehmedi saved Leverkusen a point.

Group F

Arsenal 2  Bayern Munich 0: Arsenal save their European season with a massive win over a team that has forgotten what it’s like to lose. Olivier Giroud gave them the lead in the 77th minute after a huge mistake by Manuel Neuer; Mesut Ozil finished the job in extra time.

Dinamo Zagreb 0  Olympiakos 1: Brown Ideye scored in the 79th minute to give Olympiakos a win that keeps them in the hunt for one of the top two spots.

Group G

Porto 2  Maccabi Tel-Aviv 0: Comfortable win for Porto without playing too well, scoring twice in the 37th and 41st minute with Vincent Aboubakar and Yacine Brahimi providing the goals.

Dynamo Kyiv 0  Chelsea 0: At this point, any match without a loss is good for Jose Mourinho, while Dynamo coming off a huge home defeat against Shakhtar can’t be too displeased with the result.

Group H

Zenit 3  Lyon 1: Zenit were the more clinical and efficient side in the match with goals from Artem Dzyuba, Hulk and Danny. Alexandre Lacazette scored for Lyon.

Valencia 2  Gent 1: A very important win for Valencia thanks to a late own goal by Stefan Mitrovic. Sofian Feghouli scored the opener, Thomas Foket gave Gent some hope.
