A week 9 of college football that was filled with undefeated teams losing for the first time, and your overall general misery, spread around Florida State, Tennessee, Nebraska, Baylor, West Virginia, TCU, Michigan State and Northwestern.
Utah also lost a big game, but their gameday signs were on point, focusing on Hillary Clinton and her emails. I guess the most painful losses this weekend came to those without it before: Baylor losing to Texas by one point, West Virginia getting crushed in Stillwater by Oklahoma State, and Nebraska losing in overtime at Wisconsin.
But losing before doesn’t mean losing again isn’t painful. Clemson might not be Florida State’s biggest rivals, but their the Seminoles most important rivals, winning in a topsy turvy game, ending with a last minute touchdown. Michigan State lost to the team they hate the most, which keeps them on 0 Big Ten wins, and it’s been almost two months since they’ve actually won a game.
Tennessee’s season continued to crumble with a loss at South Carolina, while the purple powers of Kansas State and TCU both lost games to carry on with mediocre, forgettable seasons, which means more to TCU, who saw themselves as candidates to win the Big 12, but are already on 3 conference losses.
