The Dallas Cowboys hype train isn’t slowing down, and neither is Dak Prescott, taking over the memes, as they make fun of the Philadelphia Eagles and Tony Romo, which is a little bit unfair.

But life isn’t fair. Romo got injured, Prescott stepped up, and the Cowboys can’t stop winning, going six in a row to have the best record in the NFC at the moment, possibly tied with the Minnesota Vikings after Monday Night Football. The Eagles? Not a bad team, but perhaps their defense isn’t as good as it looked like two weeks ago, and Carson Wentz is going through rookie struggles, which was to be expected at one point.

Prescott keeps impressing. He didn’t have the best of days throwing the ball, but he made things happen. His long ball accuracy is getting better, he’s beginning to look at more than one target, and he’s allowing himself to go out on runs a little bit more, which resulted in a touchdown for Dallas as well. Ezekiel Elliott? A 90-yard game is a bad one for him. The Cowboys have hit the jackpot, it seems, with their rookies.

Things can change in the second half of the season, with Prescott not being such an unknown factor anymore. However, as Romo still isn’t healthy enough to come back, the Cowboys seem as good as they were supposed to be last season, only with a rookie quarterback who isn’t going anywhere, no matter who is healthy and who isn’t.
