After some very dubious selections *cough Gwyneth Paltrow cough* over the past few years People finally made a decent selection naming Lupita Nyong’o their annual Most Beautiful Woman.
Lupita has been quite the popular lady after her amazing Oscar-winning performance in her first major movie role in 12 Years a Slave and with her subsequent appearances looking quite fierce at all the awards shows.
“It was exciting and just a major, major compliment,” said Nyong’o about being chosen this year. “I was happy for all the girls who would see me on [it] and feel a little more seen.”
Good for her. This almost makes up for last year’s choice and the selection of Julia Roberts a few years ago. Almost.
