Since Jennifer Lopez returned to her roots with her first performance ever in the Bronx last night we figured that she was the perfect choice for this week’s “Throwback Thursday.”

Way back in 1991 we first saw Jennifer Lopez, but didn’t know her name. She was a Fly Girl dancer on In Living Color. Little did we know that dancer would at one point become the world’s most powerful celebrity.
In 1997 Lopez again caught our attention in her first leading film role in the film Selena. And in 1998 J-Lo became the first Latina actress to earn over $1 million for a role in a movie with Out of Sight. Then just another year later she ventured into music with her debut album On the 6 and in 2001 she became the first person to have a number one album, J.Lo, and film, The Wedding Planner, in the same week

13 years later, now at age 44, Lopez is estimated to be worth over $250 million and as evidenced by her performance last night is showing no signs of slowing down.
