WWE Diva Emma got into some trouble earlier this week after getting pinched shoplifting at a Wal-Mart.
It seemed to all blow over quickly, she was in and out of court the next day, and the lawyers called it all a “big misunderstanding.”
The WWE didn’t see it that way. According to WWE.com, Emma was released from the company this afternoon.
WWE has come to terms on the release of WWE Diva Emma as of today, July 2, 2014. WWE wishes Emma the best in all her future endeavors.
And just like that another WWE Diva is gone.
Emma’s career as a WWE Diva has been a strange one to say the least. A highly touted rookie out of NXT, the Lance Storm-trained wrestler quickly found herself in the hunt for the WWE Diva’s Championship. Then things seemed to hit a stall. After a few decent feuds, Emma found herself attached to Santino Marrella for a comedic feud against Fandago and Layla. She hasn’t done much on WWE in recent months.
Perhaps with all of the recent roster cuts, and the return of AJ Lee, the WWE felt it was best to cut ties with Emma now that they’ve got a legit reason. Missing Raw because of a shoplifting incident is cause for dismissal from a job.
Emma could find a home with TNA where she once worked as a Knockout. We wish her the best.
