Qatar World Cup 640x347 Over 4,000 migrant workers will be dead by the 2022 World Cup in Qatar

Tonight on HBO, Real Sports takes a look at the ugly circumstances surrounding Qatar’s World Cup—specifically, the treatment of migrant workers. According to human rights activist Husain Abdulla, over 4,000 migrant workers will be dead by 2022. Qatar says these deaths are normal and expected. Everyone else in the world says otherwise.

In this video below, correspondent David Scott interviews families of Nepalese workers receiving their loved ones in coffins. It is beyond sad.

There are rumors that Qatar will lose the World Cup, possibly to the United States. But for now, those are just rumors. You can watch the entire segment tonight on HBO at 10pm.
