Robin Williams tribute at the 2014 Emmys was spectacular and worth another watch

Last year, I was asked to give the eulogy at my uncle’s wake.

It was the hardest thing I’ve ever had to do. I’m fine with public speaking. That was much different.

I wrote out a speech and read it right from the page. I broke down four, probably five times, and every time I did the room of roughly thirty people did the same. It took everything in my heart and guts to finish that speech.

Last night, at the 2014 Emmy awards, Billy Crystal gave a eulogy for his good friend Robin Williams in front of thousands of people in the audience and millions watching at home. He managed to make it through, voice cracking and eyes watering, but he delivered the speech. Nailed it, to be honest.
