One thing you’ve heard from anyone with a new iPhone 6 is just how incredible the camera is on the new phone, and how much better it is. But is it really that much better? These photos say otherwise…

The team over at SnapSnapSnap put six different types of photos together, side-by-side, using a photo taken on every model of the iPhone: lowlight, sunset, portrait, daylight, backlit, and macro. They compiled a pretty slick interactive interface in which you can really see if the new iPhone 6 photos are game changing…but by my eyes they’re definitely not.

In fact, given this camera is supposed to be a MASSIVE UPGRADE from the previous iPhone 5s it’s rather hilarious that on several of these photos I can’t tell much of a difference at all between the 6 and 5s…..So, is the amazing iPhone 6 camera all it’s cracked up to be or do I need to go get my eyes checked?

Let’s take a look:

Soooo do you need any more proof that the hype surrounding the new iPhone 6 camera is bullshit, or were these pics enough? If you’re still not convinced I suggest you head on over to SnapSnapSnap and check out the rest of the photos, and the interactive features to truly get a sense of how they stack up side-by-side. But for now I think it’s safe to say that the myth of the iPhone 6 camera being the end-all-be-all of phone cameras is officially busted.
