Joe Flacco

A bad performance all across the board for the Baltimore Ravens in a 40-17 preseason loss, including for quarterback Joe Flacco in probably the worst starting appearance for a QB in this preseason.

Flacco was intercepted on both of his drives, finishing with 3-of-7 for 23 yards. Both of the picks were taken back 31 yards and helped the Eagles run to a 30-0 lead before the fourth quarter restored some respect back for the awful Ravens.

The defense struggled keeping up with the up tempo offense the Eagles are known for, and although many think it’s just a preseason thing, teams learn and the Eagles might be the best team at this kind of schtick, but they won’t be the only one to deploy it during the season.

As for other notable players, Justin Forsett ran for 29 yards while Steve Smith caught one pass for six yards. Maxx Williams looked pretty good with three receptions for 25 yards as he tries to ensure the first-team tight end spot, while the Ravens problem in the offensive line continue with two more players out, making it a list of six players from the o-line currently injured.
