This might come as a shock to you but David Ortiz is kind of a dick. A huge, giant dick really. A dick who flips bats after third inning home runs because god dammit, what a dick.
Unsurprisingly, people were pissed at Fat Papi for his dickish ways. Here’s Rays pitcher Chris Archer, the dude who gave up the bomb.
Archer didn’t appreciate it, telling reporters in the Rays clubhouse that it was a “perfect example” of why David Price has said Ortiz thinks he’s bigger than the game.
“He thinks this show is all about him,” the 25-year-old Archer said.
Ortiz’s response was vintage Ortiz, laughing it off like The Joker. He’s the villain MLB deserves and the one it needs right now.
